Doppler Systems
Numed Healthcare supply a range of vascular assessment systems and doppler machines for GP surgeries, clinics and community healthcare teams. Our systems are designed to make carrying out an ABPI test quicker and easier, whether you are assessing patients for peripheral arterial disease or checking suitability for compression therapy.
An ABPI test measures blood pressure at the ankle and the arm to check for restricted blood flow in the legs. Carrying out an ABPI medical assessment with a handheld doppler can take up to an hour per patient. An automatic ABPI machine is much faster and gives consistent results every time, without the long patient rest period.
One of our best-selling systems is the Dopplex ABIlity Automatic ABI System. It measures the ankle and brachial pressures at the same time and produces an accurate ABI reading in around 3 minutes, which is far quicker than a manual doppler ABPI assessment. It also prints results straight away, making it a popular choice for busy practices.
