We are a distributor of medical products and waiting room media systems, based in Sheffield, but supplying customers throughout the UK and ROI. Following the recent acquisition of an off-site storage unit, we are looking to expand our Logistics team.

The Job Role

The Logistics department is a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment with a small but ‘tight-knit’ team who care passionately about each other and the service they deliver. As one of our Logistics Co-ordinators, you will be the first point of contact for both our customers and internal departments alike.

Our Logistics department is a busy place, currently processing up to 50 repairs and 30 customers sales orders per day.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Allocate, pick, pack, and process customer orders within the specified deadlines.
  • Stock movement from off-site storage unit to main office (driving licence required to move goods in the company van).
  • Movement of goods and packages within normal Health and Safety guidelines will be required. Ability to lift and carry packages essential. Goods are palletised in our off-site storage unit, use of a manual pallet truck will be necessary.
  • Arrange deliveries and collections using various couriers.
  • Preparing and producing documents for export outside the UK.
  • Handling general enquiries both via telephone and email.
  • Adhere to system procedures and processes, including receipt and booking in of goods on purchase orders using Sage accounting system.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
  • Assistance in any other work areas as and when required.

  • a basic understanding of import and export procedures would be advantageous, although training will be given

The Benefits:

  • Salary: £18,200 - £20,020 per annum based on 35-hour week, Monday - Friday
  • Variable work patterns between 8:00am - 5:00pm.
