Event Monitoring System

Patient activated ECG Event Monitoring is widely used for monitoring symptomatic patients over several weeks in order to capture transient or infrequent arrhythmia's. Conventional recorders have only a few minutes of memory and require the patient to transmit the ECG by telephone to a receiving station. While this system is ideal for many patients, others may find it difficult to master and a 24 hour manned receiving station is expensive by it's very nature.

The solution is the CardioCall and CardioConnect.

CardioConnect Software (sold separately) enables the ECG recorded by CardioCall to be directly downloaded in a digital format into a PC for on-screen review, printing and archiving.

• Step 1: Patient is trained to record ECG's (no need to learn how to transmit them).
• Step 2: Patient records ECG at time of symptoms.
• Step 3: Patient calls to make an appointment with their doctor.
• Step 4: Patient returns with the CardioCall device and ECG is downloaded to a PC.

CardioCall ECG event recorders are very small, unobtrusive and light - weighing only 88g (3.1oz). CardioCall's large 20 minute memory means the patient can go on recording ECG events if symptoms recur before they can get back to see their physician.

CardioCall can also be set to record ECG silently for a more discrete recording in direct contact mode.
