What is it?

Numed Image Capture is a unique new product designed to help monitor the progression of any visible medical condition. It takes high quality digital photographs and stores them directly into the patient’s electronic medical record. An anatomical diagram can be stored with the photograph to indicate the precise location as this will not always be obvious from the image itself

Useful in a wide variety of specialist areas including Dermatology and Wound Care, Image Capture will benefit your practice in any situation where a medical photograph assists a descriptive text.

How does it work?

1. The patient is selected within the clinical system
2. Image Capture software is started which automatically acquires the patient details
3. User optionally specifies a title for the image to be captured
4. Image preview mode displays a ‘live’ image from the camera on the PC
5. The image is captured with the simple click of an on-screen button
6. An anatomical diagram can be marked to the show precise location of the image
7. Both image and diagram are filed back to patient record with optional user comments

Viewing the Results

As the images are stored in standard image file formats, they can be viewed directly from the medical record on any terminal and easily sent for a second opinion.
